BeRural
To celebrate autumn and the new chapter of the Rural Women’s Network we hosted a photography initiative between April 13 – 20, 2023 called #BeRural
We aimed to reach real rural women to capture the essence of regional, rural and remote women in photography and ensure our representation is authentic.
The campaign was a huge success with a diverse number of women from all walks of rural, regional and remote life in NSW, sharing their image and story with us.
The photos represented women in agriculture and healthcare, volunteers, creative groups, small business owners, entrepreneurs, students and lots of prized cattle and award winning women across many fields of passion.
We posted these images to our Facebook, Instagram and Linked In accounts and we may also use select images for future campaigns and promotions for example on our social media, website or cover of a report.
We have decided to leave #BeRural initiative open so you can still contribute to the project if you wish by capturing your regional, rural or remote life, region or passion in photo.
Simply email us at ruralwomensnetwork@tco.nsw.gov.au and we will be in contact.
All approved images will be posted to our social media accounts and will be kept on file for future use, with any future use requiring us to confirm the context of use with you and ensuring we have your permission and consent. This consent or the image you provided, may also be withdrawn by you, at any time.
