Parisa Azad
Parisa Azad has been a high achiever from an early age. In Year 5, she was selected for an opportunity class for gifted and talented students, while in Year 7, she was invited to attend one of NSW's top selective high schools, St George Girls High. Recently, Parisa was awarded an academic scholarships for Reddam House, a leading private school.
Throughout her educational journey, Parisa has exhibited an aptitude for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects, showcasing remarkable skills, talent and passion. She is known for her fearless approach to embracing new and immersive learning experiences. This year, Parisa was selected for 3 work placements – at the University of New South Wales, Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and the ARC Centre of Excellence for All Sky Astrophysics in 3 Dimensions (ASTRO 3D).
Beyond her academic achievements, Parisa is deeply committed to various volunteer and charitable initiatives, earning her a nomination for the NSW Young Volunteer of the Year Award. She was also a finalist in the CBCity Youth Award (Community Involvement) and the Next Gen Awards 2023 Gen Z of the Year Award.
