Izabelle Kelly
Izabelle Kelly is an extraordinary individual whose kindness and dedication to helping others is inspiring. Despite facing challenges related to autism and other additional needs, Izzy has never been discouraged from making a positive impact on those around her.
In 2019 and 2020, Izzy began her journey of altruism by sewing 150 joey pouches for animals affected by bushfire. During the 2021 lockdown, she handmade 250 cards for the elderly community in Dubbo.
In 2022, Izzy appealed to her school community to donate stationery to make up pencil cases for Lismore South Public School, whose community had been affected by flooding. She donated 74 pencil cases, each with a handwritten note of encouragement.
In 2023, Izzy raised funds for Wigs 4 Kids and selflessly cut off 36 centimetres of her hair to be used to make a wig. She has also raised funds for Ronald McDonald House through Swim for Sick Kids.
Izzy’s volunteer work is nothing short of remarkable and has had a profound impact on the lives of many. Her efforts have brought communities together, uplifting spirits and fostering a sense of hope.
