Join the Museum of the Riverina in partnership with Wagga Wagga City Library for a special free event featuring historian Stephen Gapps in-conversation with the Museum of the Riverina's Sam Leah as they discuss Stephen’s new book Uprising In his latest book.
Uprising award winning historian Stephen Gapps reveals the incredible story of the extensive resistance warfare during what has been called the Second Wiradyuri War of Resistance from 1938-1941.
Stephen will be joining Museum of the Riverina historian and curator Sam Leah in conversation, discussing Uprising and his work to bring the Australian Frontier Wars into broader public recognition.
Followed by a Q&A session, book signing and light refreshments, don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear new perspectives and join the conversation.
This is a joint project between the Museum of the Riverina and the Wagga Wagga City Library.
