Port Macquarie Observatory is situated above Town Beach in Rotary Park. It's a great place to visit for anyone interested in astronomy and science.
Club members present a range of exciting topics, and you can explore through their telescope spectacular astronomical phenomena. Get closer to the moon, Saturn or Jupiter. You might even see a nebula!
Entertaining presentations cover various astronomical topics for you to discover your place in the expansive universe. Following the presentation, observe an astronomical object(s) through their mobile telescope (weather permitting).
The presentation goes for about one hour and is held regardless of weather. Come learn more about space and the cosmos!
