About Camden Haven coastal bar

The Camden Haven River is located on the Mid-North Coast near the town of Laurieton. The river estuary is approximately 30㎢ in size with an average depth of 3.6m and is a popular area for boating activity.

The river entrance is trained and open. However it is prone to sudden and unpredictable changes in conditions. Caution needs to be taken when crossing the bar.
