The Global Public Safety Operators Conference (GPSOC) is coming to Sydney, Australia for the first time – and NSW Telco Authority is proud to be the official host.
Australia is set to become a key hub for advancing public safety technology and collaboration, with NSW Telco Authority securing hosting rights for the GPSOC for the first time.
The GPSOC is an annual gathering of government agencies from around the world focused on improving critical communication networks, accelerating the rollout of new technologies and sharing lessons from real-world emergencies.
Hosting the GPSOC offers NSW and other Australian states and territories the opportunity to build partnerships and share learnings with critical communications agencies from around the world. It will also create opportunities to strengthen the Asia-Pacific region’s influence in the international critical communications industry.
Insights from the event will help shape Australia’s critical communications capabilities and advance initiatives such as the rollout of Public Safety Mobile Broadband (PSMB), helping build community resilience and preparedness for emergencies like bushfires and floods.
The event will be held in NSW during October 2025.
The GPSOC was founded by FirstNet in 2016 and has been traditionally held in Europe and North America.
