Mentally Healthy Workplaces Ambassador Program 2019-2024

Leaders play an important role in reducing stigma and driving policies and practices at work that promote mental health.

As part of the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Strategy 2018-2022, we launched the ambassador program in 2019, partnering with leaders across industries to create positive change.

In May 2024, with the launch of the Psychological Health and Safety Strategy 2024-2026, our focus shifted toward compliance with new regulations, and the ambassador program concluded.

We thank our ambassadors for their commitment, passion and contributions. Their efforts were instrumental in:

  • raising awareness of workplace mental health through speaking at events and media engagement
  • reducing stigma by sharing their personal experiences
  • sharing their strategies to support team and individual wellbeing
  • encouraging other leaders to create mentally healthy workplaces

The ambassador program played a key role in the success of the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Strategy 2018–2022, reaching over 1.2 million people through organic and paid social media.
