Crisis support line for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders that provides a culturally safe space to speak about your needs, worries or concerns. 

Elder abuse phone line

Free call phone number that automatically redirects callers seeking information and advice on elder abuse with the phone service in their state or territory.

 

Kids Helpline

Australia’s only free (even from a mobile), confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. 

Lifeline Australia

Provides all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. 

Mensline Australia

A free telephone and online counselling service offering support for Australian men. 

National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline

A free, independent and confidential telephone service for reporting cases of neglect and abuse of people with a disability. 

No to Violence

The national 24/7 counselling, information and referral service for men looking to change their behaviour. 

NSW Domestic Violence Line

Provides counselling and referrals to women experiencing domestic violence. 

NSW Sexual Violence Helpline

Counselling for anyone in NSW who has been impacted by sexual violence, recently or in the past. 

Victims Services

Provides information, referrals and programs to victims of crime in NSW.

They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The NSW Domestic Violence Line can:

  • explain services and support available to you
  • help you with your safety plan
  • refer you to support services, such as counselling
  • help you contact the police, courts or lawyers
  • help you find a safe place to stay
  • help with transport for you and your children.
