Our Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) assists children and young people aged 5 to 17 with moderate to severe or complex mental health problems.
About us
We provide mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions using a team approach to ensure the needs of the child or young person and their family or carers are addressed.
Interventions may consist of individual, family and group therapy. This can occur at the CYMHS office in Penrith, or at local community health centres. Staff are also available for home or school visits.

Referrals can be made through the 24-hour Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511.
Hours of service
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (closed public holidays)
