About us
Our assessment and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) patients includes basic brain functioning, cognitive processing, emotional status, end point behavior, and functional daily living skills.
We help people with ADHD improve their quality of life and productivity.
Referral information
We see patients who have been diagnosed with or are strongly suspected to have ADHD.
Primary behavioural intervention (such as parent training) is strongly recommended before referral and is an essential prerequisite for preschool children.
The patient will need a referral from a GP addressed to our specialist Dr Alison Poulton, which includes:
- a detailed medical and developmental history and description of the main problems
- a supporting description of functioning from an observer outside the family, such as a teacher or therapist
- 2 ADHD ratings or questionnaires, at least one from outside the family.
If applicable, please include speech therapy reports, psychology reports, previous pathology results, hearing assessments and eye test results.
GPs and families can refer to Dr Poulton's website for more information on ADHD.
Clinic services, specialists and hours
