Transport for NSW is seeking feedback on the proposed design for the Yass Road, Bungendore Road and Ellerton Drive intersection upgrade
The project is in development and a proposed design is now available for the community’s feedback.Key features of the proposal include:
- removing the roundabout
- installing traffic signals
- constructing additional lanes on all approaches for through traffic and right turning vehicles
- constructing dedicated left turn lanes on all approaches to the intersection
- signalising pedestrian crossings on all roads at the intersection
- removing the pedestrian underpass under Ellerton Drive
- upgrading footpaths to connect to existing path networks
- installing on-road cycle lanes on Ellerton Drive and Yass Road
