The Parramatta to Sydney Foreshore Link will deliver Sydney’s longest continuous foreshore path for walking and riding. Funding is provided to councils and authorities to design and build active transport infrastructure along the foreshore.
Key information
- Status: Not open for application
- Grant amount: From $600,000 to $3,000,000
Program objective
The Link will deliver upgrades to existing sections to allow for walking and bike riding, as well as filling in missing links over time to create a continuous route along the foreshore.
The NSW Government committed $60 million in June 2022 to deliver the initial stages of the Link. Part of this funding has been allocated for the design and construction of early delivery projects.
Transport will continue to engage with councils to develop the future work program for the Link.
This program is funded and administered by Transport for NSW.
