Maritime fee increases from 1 July 2024
Maritime fees will increase from 1 July 2024 as NSW Maritime moves to invest more money into improving boating safety programs and services across the state.

- Surveyed vessel passenger capacity is the maximum passenger capacity of the vessel for smooth water operations as expressed on the vessel’s Certificate of Survey and Operation.
Concession eligibility
You're eligible for a concession on your Boat Licence, Vessel Registration or Private Mooring Licence if you:
- hold one of the following:
- NSW Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) issued by Centrelink or Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)
- DVA Gold card endorsed with:
- TPI (Totally & Permanently Incapacitated)
- EDA (Extreme Disablement Adjustment)
- war widow/er.
- have evidence from the DVA confirming:
- you receive a disability pension of 70% or higher or an intermediate pension, or
- you've been assessed at 50 or more impairment points.
