Vehicle ferries are a free service operating across NSW. Please refer to the Live Traffic NSW for the up-to-date operating status of ferries.
The Berowra Waters ferry crosses Berowra Creek at Berowra Waters from Bay Road (Tourist Drive 11) to Berowra Waters Road.
Operating times
24 hours, 7 days a week.
Except for the second Tuesday of every month, between 12pm and 2.30pm (for scheduled maintenance).

3 minutes.
Capacity
This ferry is capable of carrying 15 cars.
Trucks longer than 7 metres are not able to approach the ferry due to road restrictions.
The Lawrence ferry crosses the Clarence River at Rutland Street. It shuttles between Lawrence and Woodford Island and is part of Tourist Drive 22.

24 hours, 7 days a week.

3 minutes.
Capacity
The main crossing ferry carries 24 cars each trip. The second crossing ferry takes 18 cars.
Vehicles with long overhang will have problems boarding the ferry at low tide.
Lower Portland ferry crosses the Hawkesbury River where it meets the Colo River in Lower Portland. It connects the roads linking Windsor and Wisemans Ferry.
Operating times
6.00am to 10.00am, 10.30am to 6.30pm, 7.00pm to 10.00pm, 7 days a week.
Except for the second Wednesday of every month between 9.00am and 11.00am (for scheduled maintenance).
Note: There is one half hour closure from 10.00am to 10:30am and 6.30pm to 7.00pm.

This ferry is capable of carrying 8 cars with a safe load limit of 48 tonnes.

Commonly known as the ‘Putney punt’, the Mortlake ferry crosses the Parramatta River from Hilly Street, Mortlake to Pellisier Road, Putney.

Community updates
The Speewa ferry crosses the Murray River on the border between NSW and Victoria. The ferry is located at Speewa, which is approximately 20km north of Swan Hill, on an unclassified road between Swan Hill and Nyah.

The Webbs Creek ferry crosses the Hawkesbury River between the community of Wisemans Ferry and a point just south of the junction with the Macdonald River.

The Webbs Creek ferry is capable of carrying 24 cars.
Community update
The Wisemans ferry crosses the Hawkesbury River just east of the junction of the Macdonald River at the village of Wisemans Ferry.
Bushwalkers wanting to trek up Devines Hill and the Great North Road should use this crossing.
Operating times
The main ferry operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. A second ferry operates on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

The Wymah ferry crosses the Murray River around 45km east of Albury at Wymah/Granya.
