Review of grants administration in NSW

The Review into NSW Government grants made 19 recommendations to bring grants administration into line with best practice. This included delivering value for public money, robust planning and design, adopting key principles, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.

About the Review

This Review was led by the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) in partnership with the NSW Productivity Commissioner, Peter Achterstraat AM. The Review was tasked with delivering an updated Good Practice Guide to Grants Administration and recommendations to the former Premier, the Hon Dominic Perrottet MP.

An outcome from the Review has been the development of the Grants Administration Guide. The Guide outlines how the NSW Government creates, offers and manages grants opportunities.
