Collarenebri Health Service is made up of a Multipurpose Service with an emergency department, inpatient and residential aged care beds, as well as community health services.

Get health advice

Help keep hospital emergency departments for emergencies. Our emergency departments prioritise people needing urgent care and you may need to wait to be seen for non-urgent matters.

If you’re not experiencing an emergency, but you’re feeling unwell or not sure if you need to see a doctor, Healthdirect offers a handy symptom checker and approved health advice.

You can call the Healthdirect helpline on 1800 022 222 (24 hours) to talk to a registered nurse.

24-hour emergency care
Inpatient beds including general medicine and palliative care
Residential aged care services, including respite care
Ambulatory care services including renal dialysis
A range of primary and community health care services
Visiting LHD services include a women’s health nurse, palliative care, drug and alcohol services, mental health and community outreach
Opioid replacement program is dispensed from the Multipurpose Service
Outreach medical imaging services available for four (4) hours per fortnight and an onsite remote x-ray operator for emergency care
Non-LHD visiting services include the Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service and antenatal and postnatal services from Moree Maternity Unit
Ochre Health has an onsite private GP practice.
