The Holiday Break Program

Young people are at the heart of vibrant regional communities. The NSW Government supports programs that allow our young people to thrive.

The Holiday Break Program provides access to activities during the school holidays.

This program invites eligible councils and organisations to apply for funding to run events for young people in the regions.

It offers free activities that cover a variety of interests, like sports, science and the arts. This way, young people can develop their skills, connect with others, and explore new ideas.

Spring Holiday Break fun

There were than 120 programs on offer during the last spring school holidays covering everything from sporting and art workshops to cultural experiences and live music events.

Here's a look at some of the activities that were on offer across the regions.

If there are not activities in your local area, reach out to your local Council or youth organisation to encourage them to participate next holidays.
